Hi there, I (stupidly) let a friend try and log on to my XP laptop, I dont know what they did (and apparently neither do they) but now I cant log on using my correct user name and my correct password. The error is 'The system could not log you on. make sure your user name is correct... etc'.

It does not allow me to log on to it. I start it up and the login screen appears. When I enter my login and password it starts to login then it says it is loggin out, and goes back to the login screen. I tried booting in safe mode, with a command prompt same thing. If they used FTP they have broken the extensions and you'll never get to log on through HTTP mode. What exact errors are you getting when the logon fails? The web design company says they can get in but for some reason I cant. They even reset my password but it still will not let me in.
